Growing up on the Southeast side of Houston, I had experienced and seen a lot in the community. One thing I did notice was the lack of resources for the mental health community and lack of awareness for the special needs community. I have experience in the mental health and special needs field. I worked with special needs children for 3 years and counting. I also worked in the mental health field with adults and children for 6 years and counting. It is my passion to be able to help the minority community because of the lack of resources they have. I want to be able to help the community I grew up in. I recently received my Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in May 2023. It is my passion to be able to give back to my community and spread awareness while doing so.
